Coming home to my wife is the best. We walk and get late night appetizers and have the best conversations. We have been married for 11 years this month! :-) (my longest relationship hahaha)

Things that happened today...
- one of my students called me mommy.
- another student told me I looked like a mom today ( I think it’s because I wore heels instead of tennis shoes)
-my students did an awesome job at their Christmas performance.
- I only cried tonight when I was saying bye
-went to a reel big fish concert
- I was standing in the handicap section and security brought me a chair to sit on bc they...

A friend and coworker in Chicago has been terribly sick for the last 3 weeks, she had emergency brain surgery the other day and this morning was induced into a coma due to swelling of her brain. She turned 30 only a couple months ago, has the heart of gold, sharp personality, never a dull…
I will be thinking about her Nat! Sounds like encephalitis…that’s what...

Kindergarten open house today!
Parents get to come watch me teach their children how animals stay warm in the Artic!
Today is one of those days I love teaching...
- A student read a book for the first time today by himself!
- Another student had a light bulb go off in her head and she understands and can do subtraction!

Terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day
1.) I’m sick with a head cold, so I’m drugged up on medicine
2.) my ears won’t pop
3.) I’m losing my voice which is no good when working with kids
4.) a student blew his bloody nose on me!
Honesty
Me: did you have a swim lesson yesterday?
Student: yes
Me: did you listen to your teacher?
Student: not so much
Celebrating my mom's birthday tonight by getting...
If I did well in my track and cross country meets she would reward me with taco bell.
Or she would sneak me out of school to go get food too!
